Another week has flown by! I can't believe we are already into February, time is going by so quickly!
The Hubby and I have started bowling again. Our local bowling alley has a deal on Sunday's for $19.95 you get 2 hours on a lane. It's so much fun!
The Hubby is just so good at it. I really can't compete with his high games. He got a 248 the other day....really?!? You haven't bowled in a year and you come out with a 248? I will say that I got my all time high game of 160 the other day! Whoop, whoop!
I am trying to convince the Hubby to do a Valentine's Day bowling event at our local bowling alley. It's some kind of Scotch Doubles tourney...the only problem is neither of us is very sure what that is or what to do!
We finished the basketball season this week. Now we just have the banquet and the Hubby will be done with 8th grade basketball. This year has worn me out.
Right now I am looking into starting to make all my own baking mixes and products. I am just as guilty as anyone for walking into the grocery store and buying something because it's convenient.
However, if I just plan ahead I can make my own convenience food. I am hoping to start it at the end of the month. I am currently trying to cook our way through the pantry to start fresh. I found a great website to get ideas from, it's called Budget101.com.
One of my favorite ways to cook is turning on my music and singing away while I cook or bake. Here is one of my new favorite songs! It's Boyce Avenue doing a cover of Journey's "Faithfully".
