Pixar did it again. They made another movie that both entertains kids and adults!
I went to see Inside Out this past weekend. I thought the movie was funny, heart-warming, and entertaining.
The concept of the movie was really well thought out. If you haven't heard what Inside Out is about, the synopsis is:
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
I think this a great movie and it'll go into the Pixar library of great hits!
I think Disgust was my favorite character, just because I love Mindy Kaling! She did such a good job.
Amy Poehler did a great job playing Joy. She was a fun, loving character that you can't help but like! But Anger, Fear, and Sadness all have their special places in the movie to make you love them!
But I think Pixar did a good job of matching the actor's voices to their characters. They all fit so well.
If you haven't seen it, I would recommend going. It is a movie that both you and your kids can enjoy!
